L'Observatoire au féminin
The first edition of “L'Observatoire au féminin” took place on Saturday February 11, 2023 at the summit of Mont-Gros, on the historic site of the Côte d'Azur Observatory. The aim of the event was to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, and it proved a great success, with over 200 participants!
Edtion 2024: The number of participants doubled to 400 visitors.

Science festival
The Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur has been taking part in the Fête de la Science for many years, with a stand at the Festival des Sciences in Nice (6,000 visitors in 2023 and 10,000 visitors in 2022) and at the Village des Sciences et de l'Innovation in Antibes Juan-les-Pins (5,330 visitors in 2023). Thousands of visitors come to meet researchers on these occasions. The Science and Education Mediation Department, under the responsibility of Olga Suarez, is organizing the event.

- 2023: 139 school groups - 3,390 pupils
- 2022 : 114 school groups - 3031 pupils
- 2021 : 35 school groups - 2370 pupils
Number of classes benefiting from the Observatory's intervention
- 2023/2024: one-time intervention in 8 classes, annual projects with 8 classes
- 2022/2023: one-time intervention in 6 classes, annual projects with 9 classes
- 2021/2022: one-time intervention in 18 classes, annual projects with 6 classes
Number of training courses for teachers in science outreach and astronomy (depending on the education authority)
- 2023/2024: 3 training sessions, each lasting between 1 and 2 days. Total duration: 4 days. 57 teachers trained.
- 2022/2023: 4 training sessions, each lasting between 1 and 2 days. Total duration: 6 days. 80 teachers trained.
- 2021/2022: 6 training sessions, each lasting between 1/2 day and 2 days. Total duration: 5.5 days. 115 teachers trained.
