Contents :  Restitution of the OFIS Colloquium of June 9, 2022 devoted to the practices of speaking out by scientists in the public space and the development of principles shared by research communities. 4 axes guide the exchanges : the 1st axis explores the tensions between scientific integrity, academic freedom and freedom of expression. The 2nd axis is devoted to the analysis of the different forms of speaking out in the media and the specific issues they raise. The 3rd axis addresses the means of evaluating the impact of social networks on the expression of researchers, in particular the phenomena of self-censorship, and on the course of scientific controversies. Finally, the 4th axis questions the modes of articulation between the public expression of an institution and the individual statements of its researchers.
